hi, friends!

wow, y’all, it’s december. that’s pretty strange to me. work has been so busy this fall and the past few months went by incredibly quickly. i’m really not quite ready for winter, although i’m a little more excited for christmas this year than i have been in the past. typically i get the winter blues; i suppose it’s from seasonal depression and a lack of vitamin d or whatever, but so far i’m not really feeling that way yet! so, that’s a good thing. i supposed the unseasonably warm weather has helped that or maybe i’m just growing up.

in any case, this week i’m wearing a really cute sweater i got from topshop in my fave color for the season — mustard. i know mustard isn’t the easiest color to wear, and i’m not going to tell you that anyone can wear it becuase i don’t really think that’s the case. but, if you love it when you see it on others or in stores, definitely consider alternative pieces in the color. look for handbags, scarves, or jewelry as they’re all fun, easy ways to play with the trend without committing to a piece you don’t feel that confident in. the sweater is sold out in this color so i linked it below in ivory (which is likely more versatile, anyway). in an effort to help you know how to wear mustard, i still went ahead and linked a bunch of my favorite items (all different categories) below!
