hi, friends!
spring is here! sunday we set our clocks forward (if you do the daylight savings time thing), which means more light at the end of the day. i see happy hours, patio sitting, and shorter hemlines in our futures! i wanted to share an outfit that’s more on the comfortable and casual side, so here you go!
i got these awesome yana k pants from my friend clare at council nashville. they are perfectly drapey and very comfortable, but also very versatile. they also look like, really cool and make any outfit feel “styled.” i can easily wear pants like this with a silk shirt and blazer for work, but prefer to wear them more casually. a simple tee is great, or you can jazz it up with accessories like i did.
hat – ale by alessandra; sunglasses – ray-ban; tee – free people {old; similar here}; bandana – free people; kimono – free people; bralette – free people; pants – yana k {via council nashville; similar here}; bag – free people; boots – free people
style tip
if you’re going to wear a slouchy trouser or harem pant with an ankle boot, make sure you have the pant cuffed enough (or hemmed) to show about an inch or so of ankle. you can tell from some of these photos that the pants may have come unrolled a bit, and that’s ok, but you definitely want to show that sliver of skin for the most flattering styling of a pant like this.
