hi, friends!
in keeping with some previous posts, this look was inspired by me wanting to share with you another major spring trend — fringe. obviously i love all things bohemian, but it’s especially exciting when the rest of the fashion world is enjoying it and making it their own. it’s all over street style stars and bloggers alike. this shoot was done by chelsea rochelle, who brings her own very unique, feminine sensibility to photography. i think her style compliments mine very well, and i really enjoyed working with her. great news is that you’ll be seeing a lot more of her work on dreaming trees in the future!

obviously, fringe jackets are very 1970’s and are a fun way to incorporate the spring trend into your wardrobe. bonus points if you can go vintage with it. however, there are lots of exciting fringe skirts on the market that are just as fun to wear. pair it with your favorite silk top and lace-up heels (very sexy and on trend) for a night out, or dress it down with suede ankle boots and a denim shirt for a casual cool-girl look during the day.
as you can see, i am officially growing out my bangs. they were fun and i enjoyed having them, but i know i won’t enjoy dealing with them once it gets hot.

Yes, fringe! I love it! Personally, I adore fringe vests – hippie, bohemian, and free-spirited 🙂
