long weekend

hi, friends!

shoot, y’all, i cannot believe it’s already memorial day weekend! this summer is going by so fast, it’s incredible. i feel like may was only a week long, and we’re already approaching my busiest time of year for work – cma fest and july 4th. i’m getting a little overwhelmed, but i know we always pull it off so i’m trying not to get too stressed. it’s been an exciting time for me at work, as our store was featured on a very popular local blog/lifestyle site. we’re also planning an open house for the store next week, with appearances from our vendors, that i really hope goes well! hoping to set ourselves up with some great new customers and make our presence known in the nashville retail community. this week i’m comin’ in hot with a casual bohemian outfit perfect for your upcoming vacations or summertime activities!

i loved this easy dress when i saw it in the free people catalogue and the price point was pretty reasonable, so i scooped it up. i know i’ll get great wear out of it because it’s a relaxed shape but has enough unique details to be interesting. the lace inset and v-neck give it a little boost to elevate it from a basic trapeze dress. this makes it easy to wear lots of ways by being creative with your accessories. it’s obviously very “me” because i tend to be casual, boho, and a little bit tomboy, and it’s also very nashville, so i obviously wear stuff like this in my real life and not just on vacation. as is, it is also pretty appropriate for the lake or beach, or really any warm-weather vacation activity.
