hi, friends! fashion month is underway and i think its influence seeped its way into this look. the other day nashville got a good bit of snow and ice, and it basically shut everything down. it was president’s day, so i already had the day off, and delaney and i decided to do an impromptu shoot in the snow! this crazy muppet sweater had just arrived, and i’m excited to show you this look because it’s decidedly different from my typical bohemian-girly looks. i definitely have a minimal tomboy side, too, and it came out to play. coat – j. crew {old, similar here}; sunglasses – wildfox; sweater – & other stories {sold out, similar here}; jeans – rag & bone; hat – janessa leone; boots – jeffrey campbell {old, similar here} round-eyed sunnies are trending right now, especially among the street style set. while they definitely tend to invoke 1970’s bohemian style, they can also look really modern when paired with sleek, minimal separates (not that this sweater is minimal). i chose these for this look because i thought they added a fun pop of color in a bit of an unexpected way. i’m not always a huge fan […]
