just peachy

hot damn, y’all, the summer is a-flyin’. i can’t believe it’s already almost july. that means it’s crunch time for me at work – my company puts on the big 4th of july celebration for downtown nashville, and it’s a huge event (largest fireworks show in the country, folks!). as the retail manager, i oversee our retail operation at the event so it’s a big day for me. it’s a lot of work but a lot of fun and i’m honored to work where i do. if you live in nashville, head downtown for the day and come see me!

this week’s look is pretty much my summer uniform. when it gets really hot like it’s been the past few weeks in nashville, i pretty much live in either cutoffs and a t-shirt or a cute dress. sometimes i like dressing more girly, but most of the time i look a bit like a tomboy like you see here. i just couldn’t resist this tee – if you know me, you know i say stuff like “just peachy” a lot. it suits my cornball personality (thanks, dad!).
