this post is inspired by the 1970’s pussy bow blouse trend. i’d been dying for one and finally scored this version from free people on sale at nordstrom. what i liked about this particular version is its versatility – i could wear it like i styled it here…more undone and casual, or i can button it all the way up and tie the bow under the collar for a more feminine, polished look. if you’re looking to try this trend, make sure it works for you and you find a version that suits your style.

peep this locally-made necklace from doxology. it’s made in nashville with love, and she’s got a lot of bohemian jewelry as well as some more classic styles. i love raw stones and the pop of gold makes even a flannel shirt feel a little more fancy.
