hi, friends! well, it’s almost august and summer is in full swing in nashville. it’s hot and humid and the bugs are bad, but it’s also my birth month so i’m pretty excited about what’s coming up during the time of the leo. anywho, i know you all probably tire of seeing these pesky patterned flare pants, but i don’t really get tired of wearing them so sorry i’m not actually sorry. i’d been crushing on this particular print for a while when i stumbled across them in a local boutique. i sort of couldn’t leave without them after seeing them in person, so here they are! i styled them in a way that’s really more appropriate for a fall transition, so here’s some inspiration for when the temps begin to drop (in a month, if we’re lucky…). this sweater is open-knit with exposed shoulders so it’s cozy and has a bit of femininity for days when you want to be comfortable but not to feel too frumpy. looks cute with cutoffs for a casual summer night! hat – free people; sweater – free people; flares – novella royale ; necklace – found wanderer i think part of the appeal of these pants is […]
