hi, friends!

hope y’all like this week’s outfit! it’s kind of my take on a casual, feminine style that i think is perfect for a spring weekend outing like a sunday funday or brunch with your girls. i’m totally a jeans-and-a-tee kind of girl, but i do wear more girly tops from time to time — i just style them with a laid-back attitude so they don’t feel too fussy. this adorable peplum top is from shop amelia styles and is sold out, but i found it at shopbop so i linked it below! i’ll definitely dress it up for work, but it was the basis of the whole outfit, and i wanted to show y’all how i wear more feminine pieces in a casual way. y’all know i love me some birkenstocks, so this year i decided to splurge on a pair in a fun color. last year i was dying for the metallic rosegold version, but i never took the plunge. i’m totally obsessed with these blush-pink suede birks with the white soles for the fact that they look a bit more feminine while still feeling easy going; the color is very current, but they’re still that classic birkenstock look. i also scored this frye handbag on sale from nordstrom after stalking it for months. i love the classic frye cognac brown and this bag is a great size for me; it’s crossbody and securely holds my daily wallet, phone, and all the other necessities. i love bags in this type of leather because you don’t have to worry about them; in fact, they get better the more you use them as the scuffs and patina make them more interesting. these are my favorite madewell jeans and are several years old, but they just keep getting better with age. keeping it short and sweet this week, but i hope y’all enjoy the photos. these are some of my favorite photos we’ve taken in a while — think the color of the sky, the stairs, and the outfit all work so well and they just feel like me!
