hi, friends!
hope y’all have had a great week this week! i am in omaha watching the world cup with my barn family and i am so happy! it’s a very cool experience for me to see the horses and riders i admire in real life, so i’m really enjoying myself. finally got back together with my girl delaney to shoot, so i hope y’all enjoy this very nashville-centric look! i’m wearing a top and jeans from local retailers so it seemed fitting to have the skyline in the background!
i love a good oversized boyfriend shirt, and this one from the shop by amelia styles (located in the porter road shops in east nashville but also online for you non-nashvillians) has the cutest little eyelash detail on the collar. i love these for work with black pants or even work-appropriate white jeans, but also casually like i styled it. i also love to wear button-downs tucked into jean shorts with a belt in the summer. it’s a little sexy but a little tomboy, which is a very fun combination to me.

i diy’ed the cutoff hem on these jeans; they were already distressed so i figured taking them to the tailor was unnecessary.
i’m not usually one for a cutesy detail, but this eyelash embroidery is pretty hard to resist!
i love this straw boater and think every girl needs one! it’s iconic and gives a dose of style to just about anything you pair it with.
one of the ladies who rides at my barn was cleaning out her closet and gave me this adorable vintage bag! i love it, it’s totally my vibe.
