summer floral

hi, friends!

wow has it been a while! blogging has not been a priority due to me buying a house, moving, and having the busiest spring and summer at my job since i started. it’s been a whirlwind. but i’d actually been contemplating getting back into blogging earlier this year when amerii reached out and offered to send me one of their handmade straw bags. i thought it was a perfect opportunity, so here are the photos!

i chose to style the bag with this really cute zara floral dress i got. i saw this on nashville blogger happily grey and immediately purchased. i loved the smocked detail, the breezy fabric, and green floral print. green is a color i really love wearing that i think is a little too underappreciated. it generally looks good on a lot of people and is not too girly, but not too masculine. i added a new lack of color hat that i love and my go-to boots and sunglasses for an easy look perfect for brunch or daytime shopping.

i’m really trying to elevate my daily looks by not just wearing jean shorts all summer, so i love that this dress can still feel casual while looking much more put together than my usual uniform.
