90’s boho

well, today is the day i head with my mama to north carolina for a week and a half of horse showing! i am so excited to show astro boy in north carolina and have a bit of a vacation along with it! the summer is always really busy for me at work, so it will be nice to spend some time with my mom and horse friends in the beautiful blue ridge mountains!

it’s been so hot in nashville i’ve been living in dresses and skirts to stay comfortable and cool. you may have noticed that denim mini skirts are back in a big way, and i loved the braided waistband detail of this number from free people. it’s also a really lightweight fabric and comes in several colors, and it’s on sale…so check the link below to scoop it up! i wanted to style it with this adorable, reasonably-priced free people cami that’s super 90’s (i have it in four colors!) and give it that grungy 90’s girl flair. i love the 70’s-90’s mix because they go so well together and i think when you mix them you can see each decade’s influence in the outfit while keeping a modern feel. to me this look can go from brunch to the flea market to a night out with your friends and feel appropriate and on-trend.
