hi, friends!
can’t believe it’s already april, y’all. what’s the deal with time passing by so quickly as we get older? between blogging, work, and my riding, i don’t have a ton of time to go out. but, since i’m a single girl living in the coolest city in the usa, i sort of have to make some time for socializing and gettin’ out and about.

to me, a romper is a really great alternative to a dress that’s perfect for this in-between weather when you’re wanting something a little special for a night out. i don’t think you need to fill your closet with them, but i do think you should do your wardrobe a favor and find a couple you’re crazy about. they’re worth trying on in a store, because fit is really important and can be tricky. i spotted this romper in the free people store and thought it had a lot going for it. it has pretty embroidery, is a blousy, soft fit, and i love the cutouts of the sleeve. all in all, it’s an excellent transition piece for early spring but can also be worn into the warm months. i can also dress it down with ankle boots (either flat or with a little heel) for something more casual. the color is great for fall as well.
