hi, friends! i’m another year older, but i’m excited about what year 28 has in store for me and for dreaming trees. i’m hopeful that the blog will continue to grow in some ways — whether that means different posts, more frequent posts, or into something more than a blog, i’m not sure — and i am looking forward to having you all along for the journey! this week’s installment features an incredible hand-sewn and hand-dyed kimono made locally by my friends at hey wanderer. the girls were kind enough to send it (and another item coming soon) to me to style, so i hope you enjoy my take on the piece. i own another kimono of theirs that i purchased on my own that i really love (see it here). their kimonos in particular are wonderful and easy to wear; and because they are made of a high-quality fabric that drapes beautifully and is comfortable, you’ll make up just about any excuse to wear them. although a piece like this can feel like a statement, don’t think you’re limited to wearing it dressed up — i wanted to show you how it can take a casual, simple outfit like […]
