hi, friends! as reluctant as i am to let go of summer, the past couple weeks has given us a few crisp mornings in nashville, and that little taste of cooler temperatures has really made me excited for fall. i’ve always felt (and believe that many fashion folks would agree) that fall is handily the best season when it comes to style. every year, i relish the days i can pull out my boots, sweaters, jackets, and wool hats. for today’s post, i thought it would be fun to do something different and round up some of my favorite items in some key categories in hopes that it may provide y’all with some inspiration for your fall wardrobe. sweaters sweaters are by far my second favorite garment (behind t-shirts, of course) and i live for sweater season. each year, i try to buy a couple of new sweaters that bring in something key for the season — like colors, details, or fabrications — to keep my current pieces feeling fresh as i bring them into the rotation. this year, look for items with current styling such as lace-up details, bell sleeves, or criss-cross necklines to bring in something unique without going overboard.
